A wrap does two very different jobs. On a work vehicle it is advertising that clocks in every time the van leaves the yard, priced once instead of monthly. On a personal car it is a full color change without touching the paint underneath.

Wraps are reversible on healthy factory paint, which is what makes them work for leases, fleets that get refreshed, and color changes you might not want forever.

A wrap is only as good as its film, its prep and its install. The tabs below walk through what decides how one looks and how it ages, honest limits included.

Poured, not rolled

Wrap vinyl comes in two manufacturing classes, and the difference decides how a wrap ages.
Cast film starts as a liquid poured onto a casting sheet: it cures thin, around one to two mils, with no mechanical stress in it, so it conforms to curves and recesses and stays put.
Calendered film is squeezed through rollers: thicker, cheaper, and always trying to shrink back to the flat sheet it used to be. Fine on a flat trailer side; on a curved vehicle panel it becomes lifted edges and shrink lines within a couple of years.
Color-change films come colored from the factory in gloss, satin, matte and textured finishes; fleet branding is printed on printable cast and sealed under a protective laminate. Same craft, different stack.

What sets your quote

No two wraps price the same. Coverage, the complexity of the panels, design work, the finish class of the film and the condition of the paint underneath all move the number, so we look at the vehicle and quote the whole job.

A bumper full of sensors and vents takes longer than a whole flat side; a textured or color-shift film costs more than a gloss; and paint that needs decontamination or repair before film touches it is a conversation we have first, not a surprise after.

Film for the strike zone

A wrap resists sun and light abrasion while it is on, but stopping rock chips is a physical job for urethane film.
Ghost Film certified urethane goes on the panels that actually take hits: nose, mirrors, rockers. Stones chip the film, not the paint.

Common questions

Will a wrap damage my paint?

Quality vinyl on healthy factory paint comes off clean, and while it is on, it takes the sun and light abrasion that would otherwise land on the paint. Resprayed or failing paint is a different conversation, and we will tell you before anything goes on.

How long does a wrap last?

The film makers themselves rate their best cast films around a decade on the sides of a vehicle but only a few years on hoods and roofs, because horizontal panels take the sun flat-on. Garaging, washing and climate move it from there. We give you the honest expectation for your vehicle and how it lives, not the best number on the brochure.

Wrap or respray?

A wrap is faster, reversible and protects the paint underneath; a respray is permanent. For fleet branding and color changes the wrap usually wins. For restoring damaged paint, it does not.

Can you wrap a leased vehicle?

That is one of the main reasons wraps exist. The vinyl comes off before the lease ends and the factory paint underneath is what the leasing company sees.

How do I care for a wrapped car?

Hand wash, no automatic tunnels, and do not let bird lime or fuel spills sit. We will walk you through it at handover, and maintenance detailing on a wrapped vehicle is something we do anyway.

A wrap lasts as long as its care

Hand wash only is the rule with vinyl, and a plan makes the rule effortless: scheduled hand washes that keep edges clean, film happy and the brand looking hired-yesterday sharp.

Plans run from bi-weekly to quarterly, priced per visit, and the shorter the interval the less each visit costs, down to 60 percent off the one-time rate.
